Established in 1565 AD, County Clare is home to the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, and Bunratty Castle.

This hand crafted replica road sign, is based on the original An Roinn Iompair (Department of Transport) specifications, with raised black text on a white background, and using a faithful homage to the original ‘Irish Transport Heavy’ Font.

These ‘Fingerpost’ Road Signs depicted the original Irish spelling above the English equivalence, and were widespread before the 1970s, and can still be seen today in many rural areas of the Republic of Ireland.

  • One quarter sized Irish Road Sign Replica, approx. 11 1/2 by 5 inches.
  • Handmade by us! - Celt Wares.
  • Sawtooth Picture Hanger and Surface Guard Protection Bumpers pre-mounted on rear of sign.
