This beautiful and highly detailed Claddagh Jewelry Box was handmade in the Heart of Ireland. It is such an exquisite piece of craftsmanship, it is sure to become an heirloom piece. The Claddagh (representing Friendship, Love and Loyalty), adorns the lid.
The sides of the lid, and of the jewelry box itself, are embossed on all sides with Celtic Knots. The interior has a lovely red felt lining, perfect for safekeeping precious items.

Dating to to about 600 AD, we photographed this Ogham stone in Kilmalkedar Church, on the Dingle peninsular, in Co. Kerry. on our last trip to Ireland. The ogham carving reads "ẠṆM MẠỊLE-INBIR/ MACI BROCANN" - "Name of Máel-Inbher son of Broccán"
